ABOUT THE SHOW: There is gold — lots of it — at the bottom of the Bering Sea. And each year, during a short season that begins with the melting of the glacial ice, a small group of determined (and desperate) gold hunters take to their rickety boats carrying their third-hand equipment to “vacuum up” the bottom of these frigid waters in hopes of recovering their own share of buried treasure.
