Guz Khan has joined the cast of Riz Ahmed‘s upcoming comedy series at Amazon Prime Video, Variety has learned.
The show was originally announced back in June. Ahmed is the writer, executive producer, co-showrunner, and star of the untitled half-hour series. Per the official logline, the show follows “Shah Latif (Ahmed), a struggling actor on the cusp of landing the role of a lifetime, only to find himself thrust into a full blown existential crisis and trippy conspiracy thriller all at the same time.”
Khan will appear in a series regular role, but exact character details are being kept under wraps.
